Pet Care Instructions
Fish Tank Feeding
Fish Feeding Schedule (Starting Sunday, June 29th)

Morning Feeding (10:30 AM)
Bloodworm Days (Tue, Thu, Sat):
- Open curtain
- Take 2 frozen bloodworm cubes from freezer
- Put 1 cube in main top tank and shake it around, then proceed to split it to the bottom 2 tanks
- Put 1 cube in the stand alone big tank, spread it around and proceed to split it with the white cory tank
- Put smaller amounts in other tanks (they need less)
- No dry food needed on bloodworm mornings
Dry Food Days (Mon, Wed, Fri):
- Open curtain
- Feed dry bug bites to tanks
Evening Feeding (5:30 PM)
- Use bug bites - give small pinch to most tanks
- Give wafers to specific tanks that need them
- Check that all filters are working properly
- Close curtain
Important Notes
- Use spare bucket of water if you need to top up any tank, or rinse out any filter sponges
- I've added a post-it note onto each tank explaining the issues I would commonly find with them
Cat Care
Feeding (2-3 times daily)
4 food bowls - can spread around house now that dogs are gone
- Ollie: Green bag Nulu brand Senior food only - usually waiting and hungry
- Arya: Orange limited ingredient food
- Willow: Gets the blue purina bag, mix some of the purple bag in
- Herb: Cleans up leftovers
Note: It may be needed to wash the bowls midway through the week
Water
- Refill multiple times daily
- Water stations: upstairs and downstairs bathroom
- Cats drink from downstairs bathroom often
Litter Boxes
- Clean once daily
- Paper towels available throughout house
- Use towel provided
- Wear slippers (litter tracks everywhere)
Medication
- Arya: Needs daily pill, usually in the AM
- Catch her and put pill down throat (she won't like it but won't hurt you)
- Pills located by the kitchen counter
Outdoor Access
- Cats love to be in the catio - Herb and Willow can stay in there for hours
- They won't run away if you let them outside while watering
- Let them outside to eat some grass for 10 minutes - they're wanting the nutrients
- Watch Herb - he likes to hunt birds. No one else does anything to worry about
Sleeping
- Ollie likes to sleep in the bedroom, him and Willow are allowed
- Basically anyone but Herb
- Just make sure to let him out when you come back at night - don't leave anyone in there overnight
- If you do let a cat in there during the day, just pop open the curtains so that the sunlight comes through, then make sure to close them at the end of the day
Plant Watering & Yard Maintenance
Backyard/Plant Watering
- Water the greenhouse
- Water all of the outstanding flowers
- Water the raspberry plants
- Water the plants and flowers out front
Optional Yard Work
- I'm worried the lawn might get too long by the time we get home - wasn't able to mow it due to the rain
- If you guys feel like trimming our plants and edges with the clippers, feel free to go ham there (I'm never too sure what to do for that anyway)
